Our commitment to transparency. FOG is a 501(c)(3) public charity governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. After each regular meeting, we publish a plain-language summary of every resolution passed — so our community, donors, and partners can see exactly what the board has decided. Battle Buddy Program — Officially Launched. Voluntary, consent-based peer support initiative pairing veterans and first responders with trained companions from first contact through treatment. Entirely volunteer-driven.

Battle Buddy Program Budget Authorized. Budget authorized to fund curriculum development, volunteer training, clinical supervision, and program infrastructure.

Battle Buddy Program Forms Adopted. BBP-001 (Member Intake & Consent), BBP-002 (Participation Agreement), BBP-003 (Battle Buddy Volunteer Application).

SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant — Submission Confirmed. Application to the VA SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program confirmed submitted by the June 12, 2026 deadline. Federal registration authorized to receive any award.

Texas Veterans Commission Grant — Authorized. Grant application to the TVC Financial Veteran Assistance Program authorized for submission when portal opens September 2026.

Elizabeth Dole Foundation — Face the Fight Coalition. FOG formally welcomed as a member of the national veteran suicide prevention coalition.

Headspace Health. Board voted to decline current proposal; follow-up requested in six months.
